Referral programme terms
You give a friend your code; you are rewarded when they join.
What the referrer gets
- 60 minutes of DR protection for each friend who installs the app and completes setup (finishes onboarding). These minutes do not expire.
- 50% off your next monthly-plan charge for each friend who buys a paid subscription.
The same friend can be credited for both: first for setup, then for the subscription.
What the friend gets
The code does not give the friend a discount: they already have the first-month discount. The code is a way to thank the person who recommended the app, nothing more and nothing less. We say so plainly in the app so that nobody enters a code expecting something else.
When the discount is credited
The discount for a friend's subscription is credited 14 days after their purchase. The wait is needed because refunds become visible during that time. If the friend is refunded for the subscription, the reward for them is not credited.
How the discount is applied
- The discount applies from the next charge; it does not change a period already paid.
- It is applied as an App Store promotional offer: you tap a button in the app, confirm the purchase with Apple, and the next period is charged at half price. Nothing happens without your consent.
- One discount per charge. Discounts do not stack: two friends do not give −100%, they give two discounts on two separate charges.
- Each credited friend adds one more discount, up to 10.
- The discount applies only to the monthly plan. On the annual plan rewards are kept and wait: if you switch to monthly, they are yours.
- If you are not a subscriber yet, rewards still accumulate; you can use them once you subscribe.
- Rewards provide access or a discount, are not money, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be sold.
Limits
- A lifetime cap of 10 credited friends per code.
- A code can be entered only before the first purchase. Someone who is already subscribed cannot use a code.
- You cannot enter your own code; a device is credited as a friend exactly once.
- A subscription obtained through Family Sharing does not take part in the programme.
- We may change or end the programme for future participation. Rewards already credited stay yours.
- The programme is not connected in any way to App Store ratings or reviews. We do not ask for, encourage or reward reviews.
What we know about you in the programme
An installation identifier, the Apple-confirmed subscription state, your participant code and reward counters. No coordinates, routes or drive recordings are visible to the referral programme: that is a separate part of the app. Details are in the privacy policy. To leave the programme and delete your record, write to [email protected] and include your participant code.
